Ouvi dizer que existe uma competição de bicicleta em Mairipops (Mairiporã, interior de SP) que funciona da seguinte maneira: dão ao ciclista um mapa e fotos dos lugares pelos quais ele precisa passar durante o percurso. Gostei tanto da idéia que, se alguém quiser refazer o percurso do meu passeio de 2 horas de hoje, é só se orientar pelas imagens.
Once I was told there is a bicycle competition in a small countryside city in the state of São Paulo called Mairiporã, that works like this: the cyclist is given a map and pictures of the places he needs to pass by during the competition. Well, I liked the idea so much, that if anyone wants to retrace the 2-hour route I made today, (s)he can use these pictures as a guide.

Não escolha nenuma dessas alternativas. Siga pela via asfaltada que tem a largura de uma ciclovia, mas também passam carros nela.
Do not chose any of these alternatives. Remain on the paved lane, that is wide as a cyclepath, but is also used by cars.
Mantenha a direita e aprecie a paisagem inundada, o cheiro de água parada e não desista de lutar contra os fortes ventos.
Keep on the right and enjoy the flooded landscape, the smell of still water and don´t give up the fight against the strong winds. Esta parece ser uma boa solução de moradia.

Suba as escadas que dão acesso à ponte que cruza o Waal. Já que você está de bike, use as canaletas laterais da escada para colocar as duas rodas do seu veículo ali, você não precisa carregar a bike debaixo do braço.
Go up the stairs that lead to the bridge that crosses the Waal. You don´t have to carry your bike, just push/pull it up.Depois de ter cruzado a ponte e virado à direita, você segue ao longo do Waal por 1okm. Nas curvas de rio, o vento frontal vai dar trabalho e o vento lateral vai fazer com que a bike fique inclinada pro lado, como se você estivesse numa curva em alta velocidade. Não desista, é assim mesmo. Esta é a ponte que você vai usar para cruzar o Waal de novo.
After crossing the bridge and turning right, you will go along the Waal for about 10km. In the turns (curves) of the river, the frontal wind will give you a hard time and the sidewinds will incline the bike as if you were in a curve at high speed. Don´t give up, there is nothing you can do to change it. This is the bridge you are going to cross over the Waal.
Quando você tiver alcançado a ponte e olhar para trás, verá o bairro de Lent.
When you have reached the bridge and look back, you will see Lent.
Da ponte você verá a ponte-cartão-postal de Nijmegen.
From the bridge you will see the post-card-bridge from Nijmegen.
Só pra certificar de que você está na ponte certa: é a ponte em que passam os trens.
