The guy from the bicycle rentals brought me a city bike, looked at me and decided: I give you a lady bike. I explained that I have a mountainbike, that I am used to swing my leg over the seat, but none of my arguments convinced him.

There are not that many bridges in Dordrecht, so many waters are crossed on a ferry. I took the waterbus for 1 euro to move to the next stop: across the canal there was Papendrecht.

The lady from the tourist information desk told me that now the bicycle routes have a new identification system. In the old fashion, each route had a name, and you would always follow the same signs with that same name of the route. This way you always know that you are on the right route, but that does not mean that the direction is correct. You also have no idea of how far you are from the destination.
