Comforted

De alguma forma, eu queria expressar a minha gratidão por pequenos gestos de simpatia. Annelies me deu estas flores, as pessoas sorriem e me perguntam se sinto dor, o motorista do ônibus esperou até eu chegar até o veículo de muletas (!), Nola e Tanguy vieram me visitar hoje de tarde, e as pessoas em casa estão sempre dispostas a me ajudar a transportar coisas. É bom estar de volta, não estar presa a uma casa, bom rever amigos.

I would like to express somehow that I am grateful for little small gestures of sympathy. Annelies gave me these flowers, people are smiling and asking if I feel pain (pijn), the bus driver waited until I got to the bus with my crutches (!), Nola and Tanguy came to visit me this afternoon and the people at home are always ready to help me transporting things. It is good to be back, good not to be bound to a house, good to see friends again.
